Words, Weights, Whatever

Due to the concerns about Internet Explorer's security bugs (which includes comments from the Department of Homeland Security), we decided to download and install Mozilla's Firefox browser. Spouse's already impressed enough to make it the default browser. I'm a little more skeptical (and less paranoid) so I'll continue to play with the freeware for a bit.

  • Mozilla has its share of problems, too, like not being able to click on links, etc. I've also tried Opera and Safari, and am partial towards Safari.

  • The slender resource requirements and tabbed browsing made me a fan. And it is great for finding flaws in web page disign. I only use IE when I need to make sure one of my sites looks OK in it.

I like Opera as well but it doesn't have all the handy extensions.
