More culling, new blogs, and manly men....

As anyone has noticed, I read my favorite blogs daily. I'm debating about making more cuts and possibly adding more non-writing-related sites*.

I've noticed several folks have multiple blogs for different subjects (e.g., writing, fitness, life in general, sexual techniques, etc.) I've always thought the practice to be silly and time-consuming but am reconsidering the issue. For those who have such an arrangement, why did you do it?**

"Manly men."This topic emerged from a posting over at Forward Motion over writing characters. What are the "traits" to write a convincing man? A woman? Sometimes I feel the topic is like art (or porn): you'll recognize it when you see it or, in this case, read it.
But I know it's possible. What's your opinion? I'll be writing a more extensive entry later.
