As I stated in the previous post, I have an opportunity to freelance on a major weblog where I actually make $$$ for something I enjoyed. Well, the first (virtually) meeting did not occur.

Time zones, fatigue, yadda yadda. But after a flurry of e-mails and a sacrifice of some daylight and the editor-in-chief and I finally had a...talk. My enthusiasm had brought me to their attention. Now, though, it's time to sit down and submit. Samples, that is. By tomorrow morning.
