***Daily drivel***

Nothing much to post about Tuesday or yesterday. R. started vacation on Wednesday. I did a two-hour workout Tuesday night. Did the foodshopping afterwards. While I think I still bought too much (allegedly because I was hungry after the workout), I managed to keep the bill below $200 this time.

For writing, check out my planned "100/60" experiment. Also, I finally started Chabon's award-winning, Kavalier and Clay for the unofficial reading group last night. R. and I also watched the premiere episode of Drawn Together. We know where we'll be every Wednesday night.

The Spouse and I watched the premiere episode of Drawn Together on Comedy Central tonight.

Oh. My.

Well, we have a new show to regularly watch since Daria.

I like the quote from The Sage.

***From whom the punch clock tolls***

Work dominated our lives yesterday. I was busy assisting my co-workers prep for a major convention. R. stayed up at the office until 2300 to deal with paperwork. I finally relaxed in the evening doing some housework: tossing out trash, washing dishes, and laundry while BSB undulated in the background.

***Weekend Words***

Because R. was on-call Friday which meant staying up in Northridge all day Saturday not only to recover (it was a bad night) but to work on paperwork. Thus, I spent most of the weekend on my own.

Picked up my comic books Friday night. Oh! R.'s going to hate what happens to poor Robin.

Saturday was spent working out and writing. Main event on Sunday was driving down to San Diego for an author signing.

Overall, I give a thumbs up to the weekend. Oh! Except for the fact that The Spouse is sick with a cold.
